Family and School Programs

I love interacting with readers of all ages and have numerous family and school programs available.  Each presentation is geared specifically toward age groups ranging from kindergarten through high school.

Delightfully Different

In the Uniquely You presentation (Grades K-3) children will learn more about what makes Penny and I unique while discovering their own special qualities. 

​The goal is to educate children on the importance of being true to oneself and that being different is beautiful.  This presentation also includes an interactive game. 

SPARK: A Passion for Animals

In the Spark A Passion for Animals presentation (Grades 5-12) students will learn how their passion for animals can lead to a successful career as well as help save lives along the way.

How a Children's Picture Book is Made

In the How A Children's Picture Book is Made presentation (Grades K-8) students will get an in-depth look at how a children's book is made and see photos of the actual storyboards used in the making of Priceless Penny. 

Wonderful Writers Workshop

In the Wonderful Writers Workshop (Grades 5-12) students will learn numerous brainstorming techniques, how to look for inspiration in the world around them, and how to craft a well-written story.
